Easy Fudge

I love desserts, and I'm always looking for the easiest recipes with the most impact. I have tried many fudge recipes throughout the years...this is by far the easiest and most delicious recipe I've tried. Various ingredients can be added to modify this recipe. During the Christmas holidays, I like to add chopped peppermint to the recipe. Feel free to add chopped nuts, chopped candy, mini marshmallows, etc.

1 12-oz. Package Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
2/3 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
Chopped Nuts, Chopped Candy (optional)


In a large microwaveable bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and the sweetened condensed milk. Microwave for 1 ½ minutes and stir. Microwave for 30 second increments until the mixture is melted and smooth. Add the vanilla extract and stir, along with any optional ingredients you desire. Spoon into mini muffin paper tins, or pour into a well greased baking pan lined with wax paper or parchment paper. Refrigerate for several hours to set. Slice into serving portions.
